PRIP-80,the vertical structure design,enables optical fiber manufacturers to fix full- automatically position of the optical fiber preforms,thus quickly and comprehensively characterizing the refractive index distribution of the entire preforms.Based to the refractive index data collected,the geometric indicators of preforms, such as mandrel diameter,outer diameter of quartz rod and concentricity,can be calculated.It is particularly suited for refractive index characterization of special optical fiber preforms.

PRIP-80 is installed in vertical structure and supports full automatic rotation and longitudinal translation.The loading and unloading materials are simple and convenient, and one person can independently complete.It can accurately predict the mode field diameter, dispersion and cut-off wavelength of the optical fiber extracted from the preform.Built-in standard rod calibration.
